Governing Law, Consent to Jurisdiction and Venue

This agreement, and any dispute arising out of the purchase or use of our services, shall be governed by the laws of the United States and by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions.

You agree to the jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts of Los Angeles County for all purposes in connection with any proceeding which arises out of or relates to this Agreement.


Service, Cancelation, & Refund Terms & Conditions:

Training Package Terms

Training packages of 3 sessions are good for up to 2 months, training packages of 5-7 sessions are good for up to 3 months, and training packages of 8 sessions or more are good for up to 6 months. An expired package that was not finished can be reactivated for $99 per month if it is within 1 years from the initial purchase excluding puppy packages. Consultations, assessments and any associated discounts are good for up to one year.

Consultation and Assessment Terms

Requesting a behavior modification package size before or during your consultation does not guarantee we can accommodate addressing all your training goals within your preferred training package size. When assessing a dog for companionship or work, we do not guarantee any future behavior of the dog.

Dog Tutor Program Membership Terms

Dog tutor program membership weekly tutor sessions do not role over if unused unless there was a cancellation on our end or absolutely no availability during the advertised scheduling hours. Membership dues are reoccurring and will be charged to the card on file until the client cancels membership. Failed membership due payments will result in immediate membership deactivation. An adult must be present to release and collect the dog from the trainer at the beginning and end of a tutor sessions. If there is no adult home to release the dog the session will be treated the same as a non canceled session and a no show. If an adult is not home to collect the dog after a tutor session we reserve the right to take the dog into our possession as an abandoned dog to do with as we see fit in accordance to local laws.

Payment Plan Terms

Intailigent LLC’s weekly payment plan requires a 25% deposit of the package total when not paid in full for all packages excluding day training. Packages can be paid off weekly with the first week payment due at the time of purchase along with the deposit if applicable. Weekly payments on a package requiring a deposit are determined by dividing the balance remaining after the deposit evenly by the number of sessions for that package. After purchasing a payment plan all remaining payments will be automatically charged to the credit card on file every seven days regardless of whether the session is held until the package is paid in full. Packages purchased in cash must be paid in full at the beginning of the first session.

Refund Terms

CONSULTATIONS, ASSESSMENTS, WEEKLY PAYMENT PLAN DEPOSITS, AND TRAINING SESSIONS RECEIVED ARE NONREFUNDABLE. UNUSED WEEKLY TUTOR SESSIONS AND MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE NONREFUNDABLE.

Merchant fees of up to 5% of the total amount being refunded may apply to any and all refunds. Request for a refund on any training sessions NOT yet received must be given within 14 days of having purchased the training package by emailing the request to info@intailigent.com. The rate for sessions not yet received is determined by the weekly payment amount that excludes the nonrefundable deposit for payment plans, or by dividing the entire package price by the number of sessions for packages paid in full.

Scheduling Terms

ALL SCHEDULED SERVICES MUST BE CANCELED OR RESCHEDULED 8 HOURS PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT TIME OR THE SERVICE WILL BE COUNTED AS A NO SHOW, CHARGED IN FULL, AND BECOME NONREFUNDABLE. DEPENDING ON THE NATURE OF THE SERVICE, WE MAY OFFER THE OPTION TO RESCHEDULE FOR A $50 FEE.

Payment plan packages and dog tutor program memberships payments must be kept current to avoid package or membership deactivation. Sessions from a deactivated account can’t be scheduled or received. A deactivated account can be reactivated with an updated payment if the package is not yet expired in which additional charges may apply. For a reserved recurring weekly day and time for a training package or membership we must be notified by the end of the first received session that you prefer our help to schedule out. Otherwise it is up to the client to use our scheduling system to schedule their package or membership sessions and availability for any specific day or time can’t be guaranteed.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop services. All services are subject to being stopped and/or rescheduled if the trainer feels the dog owner cannot safely control or contain the dog and the dog is displaying fearful or aggressive body language.

SMS Terms

By providing your phone number you consent to receive text messages from Intailigent LLC regarding your dog training inquiries, account updates, and other relevant information. COVID-19 Contingency Plan Terms and Conditions:

All training sessions and consultations are subject to requiring some or all of the following: masks, proof of vaccinations, negative COVID-19 test, in-person training sessions held outdoors, or switching to virtual training sessions and consultations if the 7 day positive test rate for COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County becomes more than 10% of the county populace, the County of Los Angeles requires such actions via a mandate, if you become ill with COVID-19, or your trainer becomes ill with COVID-19.

For training sessions that are switched to virtual training sessions, you may request an adjustment of your in-person training package price to the virtual training package price if there are 50% or more total training sessions that will be held virtually.

For an in-person consultation that is switched to a virtual consultation, you may request a price adjustment to the virtual consultation price.

If your trainer is ill with COVID-19, you may request to suspend your training package until in-person training is safe to resume per CDC guidelines if you do not wish to use the virtual option, and our regular Purchase Terms & Conditions still apply.

Please inform us if you become ill with COVID-19, suspending your package in the case you are ill with COVID-19 is at the company’s discretion and handled on a case by case basis, and our regular Purchases Terms & Conditions still apply.

If we choose to switch to virtual training sessions, virtual consultations, or change any of the requirements to meet in-person for training sessions and consultations due to the 7 day positive test rate for COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County becoming more than 10% of the county populace, our regular Purchase Terms & Conditions still apply.

If we have to switch to virtual training sessions, virtual consultations, or change any of the requirements to meet in-person for training sessions and consultations in order to follow Los Angeles County COVID-19 mandates, training packages, training sessions, and consultations used or unused are not refundable or suspendable due to dissatisfaction over the changes put in place to follow said mandates and this supersedes our regular Service, Cancelation, & Refund Terms & Conditions.


Changes to This Terms & Conditions:

Intailigent LLC reserves the right to change pricing at any time without notice. Pricing on any training package that has already been purchased will remain the same as it was at the time of purchase. We may update our Terms & Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review our current pricing and this page periodically for any changes before purchases. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms & Conditions on this page. Price changes are effective immediately after they are posted on our website. Changes to Terms & Conditions are effective immediately after they are posted to this page.
